Founder and Principal · LeanLine Advisory · A service of AxisPath LLC

I’m an industrial engineer, project manager, and operations professional with 16+ years of professional experience, including 9+ years focused on project management and process improvement.

I’ve worked inside manufacturing teams, construction projects, warehouse operations, energy operations, and federal programs. That means working through capacity constraints, competing deadlines, material and vendor dependencies, staff changes, and the risk that appears when responsibilities or handoffs break down.

For business owners, those pressures often show up as recurring rework, missed deadlines, decisions waiting on one person, or a team that is busy but still falling behind. I examine how the work actually moves, identify the bottleneck, and build the processes, controls, and routines needed to improve execution.

The person who leads your Free Business Bottleneck Diagnostic is the person who works with you. My involvement in implementation, delivery leadership, or advisory follows the responsibilities agreed in your engagement.

I started LeanLine because I kept seeing capable business owners stuck — not because they lacked talent, but because they lacked structure. I know how to build that structure. That’s what I do.

The problem: Purchasing, warehouse quality checks, order dispatch, and an outside delivery carrier needed connected processes.

What was implemented: Inbound purchasing and outbound dispatch workflows were designed and implemented, alongside warehouse quality controls, staff supervision, and delivery-carrier coordination. A training methodology and warehouse operations program were also developed.

What changed: The business had working purchasing and dispatch processes, warehouse quality controls, and defined responsibilities across the team and delivery carrier.

Experience / By industry

The problem. The work. The result.

Hands-on experience across demanding operating environments, described through the work delivered.

01 / Experience / Manufacturing / Johnson Controls

Protect throughput when testing capacity is constrained.

Problem

Roughly ten concurrent test programs, a compressed environmental compliance deadline, and recurring maintenance downtime created competing demands on lab capacity.

Action

I rebuilt the testing schedule, modeled cross-tonnage room capacity, routed overflow to a sister lab or outside labs, and re-optimized the schedule weekly using Lean and value-stream mapping.

Result

The lab had a repeatable capacity and scheduling process for responding to recurring downtime and urgent test requirements.

02 / Experience / Custom manufacturing / Communications-Applied Technology

Deliver prototypes while requirements keep changing.

Problem

Three custom-engineered product lines needed coordinated delivery despite roughly ten client-driven modification requests over an eight-month engagement.

Action

I translated customer changes into engineering and manufacturing plans, coordinated a roughly twelve-person team across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and sales, and managed prototype testing, vendors, and budgets.

Result

All prototypes were delivered on schedule.

03 / Experience / Construction / Washington, D.C.

Keep project schedules, budgets, and vendors connected.

Problem

Construction and real-estate projects in Washington, D.C., required milestone schedules, vendor commitments, and budgets to be managed together.

Action

LeanLine Advisory’s founder managed schedules and milestones, tracked budgets, and negotiated with vendors.

Result

The work provided schedule, cost, and vendor tracking for project execution.

04 / Experience / Engineering Services / Guatemala

Connect vendor and logistics data with operating decisions.

Problem

Operational and financial tracking required information from vendors and logistics to be organized for reporting across English and Spanish working environments.

Action

I analyzed vendor and logistics data and produced bilingual Excel reporting.

Result

The team had reports supporting operational and financial tracking.

05 / Experience / Energy infrastructure / Exelon–Pepco

Coordinate the work around outage windows.

Problem

Substation modification work required contractors, schedules, safety requirements, vendors, and budget controls to align around outage windows.

Action

I coordinated contractors, managed critical-path scheduling, verified contractor safety compliance, negotiated with vendors, and tracked the budget against the work breakdown structure and baseline.

Result

The project had coordinated schedule, safety, and cost controls supporting execution planning to minimize outage windows.

06 / Experience / Oil & gas / Devon Energy

Turn decades of production data into investment decisions.

Problem

Asset evaluation depended on historical data spanning more than 50 years and thousands of wells, with multiple development and acquisition scenarios to compare.

Action

I cleaned and validated the data, integrated SCADA information, built production and profitability forecasts, and evaluated scenarios using decision trees and deterministic economics.

Result

The analysis identified enhanced-oil-recovery candidates and supported capital decisions in the $20M–$200M range.

07 / Experience / Federal programs / Culmen International, DHS/CISA

Keep delivery moving when the team changes.

Problem

A coordinating department lost 80% of its headcount, while repeated leadership changes and lengthy compliance approvals put continuity and deadlines under pressure.

Action

I built handoff documentation and process-ownership maps, trained incoming staff, maintained risk registers, and tracked three approval cycles.

Result

All three compliance cycles were delivered on time, and full deliverable continuity was maintained.

08 / Experience / Oil and Gas Consulting Firm

Make safety, quality, and compliance data usable.

Problem

Safety, quality, and compliance reporting depended on operational data being analyzed and organized.

Action

As a Technology & Safety Associate, I analyzed data supporting those reporting requirements.

Result

The analysis supported safety, quality, and compliance reporting.

How I work

What You Can Expect Working With Me

LeanLine is deliberately direct. The work is designed to be used — not admired in a presentation and forgotten.

01

Direct & Practical

No vague frameworks. I explain what I see, what it means, what matters first, and what to do next.

02

Data-Driven Decisions

Recommendations are supported by analysis, operating evidence, financial context, risk, and measurable outcomes.

03

Execution Focused

Strategy without execution is just a document. I stay engaged through implementation so the change actually happens.

04

High Trust. High Discretion.

Experience inside government, military, regulated, and sensitive business environments makes discretion standard.

The LeanLine method

Diagnose. Fix. Stay.

1

Diagnose

Follow the work, identify the bottleneck, and agree on priorities.

2

Fix

Put the agreed improvements into use, with named responsibilities and measures.

3

Stay

Review results and adjust what needs attention during the agreed engagement.
